Sacramento Digital Stories: Mather Field Vernal Pools

The fields adjacent the Mather AFB housing area, now Mather Field, in Sacramento County, have not been grazed or cultivated for over 70 years. There is a variety of wildlife in this protected habitat, including the flora and fauna of the Mather Field vernal pools.
